HarperCollins Canada has published Café Babanussa, a novel by the late Karen Hill. The book contains Karen Hill’s autobiographical essay “On Being Crazy” as well as a foreword by her brother, Lawrence Hill.
Lawrence Hill wrote a tribute to his late sister for the April 4, 2014 edition of The Toronto Star, as well as an obituary for The Toronto Star and The Globe and Mail. A scholarship in Karen Hill’s name has been established at the Humber School for Writers, where Karen herself had received financial help to benefit from a literary mentorship.
