Seeking Salvation

Seeking Salvation is an award-winning documentary from Travesty Productions, with a screenplay by Lawrence Hill. The film explores and celebrates the rich history of the black church in Canada in a 90-minute narrative punctuated by song and with interviews with clerics, historians, poets and musicians. Seeking Salvation won the American Wilbur Award for best national television documentary in 2005.
